I have been an educator for over 16 years. Recently I was appointed the Director of Planning, Research, and Evaluation for the Chester School District in Chester, NJ. Prior to this I was a vice principal at Black River Middle School in Chester, NJ. I was recently named the 2017 NASSP National Assistant Principal of the Year. For the past five years I have been moderating #Satchat, an online Twitter discussion for current and emerging school leaders. I also have authored four books, the most recent being Hacking Google for Education. I speak nationally about educational technology and social media. I also am a Google Certified Trainer and conduct Google trainings for school districts.

Twitter. Hands down Twitter has impacted my professional life in so many ways. It has given me access to the best minds in the business and has provided me an opportunity to share my knowledge. Twitter also gives me a chance to connect with school stakeholders by allowing me to tell our school story in a 140 characters or less.
