Tell us about yourself along with a fun fact!
I am a high school counselor at North Tahoe High School, blogger at The Counseling Geek, founder of The School Counselor Community Scholarship, proprietor of The School Counselor Shop, Tech Chair for the California Association of School Counselors, father, husband and aspiring gourmet chef.

I highly enjoy learning about and utilizing technology in the world of school counseling. It helps me serve my students more productively, more proactively and more efficiently. Still being somewhat a “baby” in the world of school counseling (I am only entering my 6th year) — I feel lucky to be plugged in with a network of supports around the country through things like social media and connections I’ve made through things like speaking engagements and other fun activities.

Fun fact: I am actually not a big talker most of the time. I tend more to the shy side, but I have practiced being more outgoing and charismatic so I can turn it on when I need to.
