Tell us about yourself along with a fun fact!
Hi! I’m Anisha Salunkhe. I’m a third year student at UC Berkeley studying Cognitive Science with a concentration in Computer Science. I chose to study this field because I am really interested in the intersection between people and technology! It’s so fascinating to see how things that are so uniquely human (like language and other cognitive processes) can be applied to and modeled by technology. The possible applications of cognitive science are endless, and that really excites me!

Apart from that, I love traveling, solving puzzles, singing, and spending time with my family! Last summer I interned at Intuit and had a really fun introduction to computing in the industry. Fun fact: I came to Berkeley as a Molecular Cell Biology major. It wasn’t until I took an intro programming class at college that I decided to trade in microscopes for some code!
