Tell us about yourself along with a fun fact!
I am a rising sophomore at Yale University. Although I was born in Los Angeles, I have spent most of my life in Mexico City (13 beautiful years! :D). I came back to the United States in August, 2012, and I did not know how to speak or write English very well. It was hard to be away from most of my family and to be in a completely new environment, but I managed to learn English and eventually became the first person in my family to attend college.

Tech life: I started coding in 7th grade, but my assignments were so dull that I thought CS was boring. It was not until high school that I became interested in CS again through a program called CyberPatriot, where I learned about cybersecurity and networks. I participated in competitions and loved the thrill of finding out the flaws that lead to a successful attack. It was then where I discovered my passion for computer science.

In college, programming became AWESOME. The homework was challenging and exciting and JKSFKJASDFDS. It just made me happy. Now that I know more about programming and life in general, I am excited to look for an internship for next summer.
